Vision Of Disorder - Still

Truth be told I don't know why I felt the need to buy this record. I mean I know it like the back of my hand and have like three versions of the 7" release. But when I realised this was being released on 12" for the first time for the 20th anniversary I couldn't help myself. Love V.O.D!!

200 copies of this ridiculously described Grey Vinyl with Aqua Blue, Halloween Orange, and Black Splatter.

Rotting Out - The Wrong Way

Loved the bands Street Prowl effort from a couple of years ago but it took me an age to get round to nabbing a copy of this record. Think this is supposed to be 'hot pink' vinyl but it just looks red to me. 800 on this colour anyway.

I see from the back cover the band are still rocking their own merch...these guys just don't give a fuck!

Into Another - Ignaurus

Carry on there's nothing to see here, didn't have this record on wax so picked up the reissue from a while ago.

108 - 18.61

It takes a brave band/label to use the much overlooked bile colour vinyl. They've tried to throw us off the scent if you will by calling it 'Opaque Green' but who are they kidding? 700 pressed

I like this record though, so it's good to have it join the record collection.

Integrity - Those Who Fear Tommorow

My Integrity record collection is pretty poor even in the LP section without even delving into the bands 7" output. I dunno, just another band that I had their releases on previous formats and haven't gotten round to replacing yet.

This dark blue press is of 225 and is from the third pressing of the record.

Praise - Lights Went Out

It took me ages to pick this record up and when I finally did only black remained . Ah well, cracking record though.

Hounds of Hate - S/T

Same could be said for this one. Another record that I just didn't get round to buying for so long. Another great record too, maybe in a year or so I'll get round to getting the release after this one too.

The First Step - What We Know

This is an absolute classic. I think this is a first press on solid blue of 850.

I hadn't listened to this for a good few years till I picked this copy up. Had almost forgotten how good it is.

Know The Score - All Or Nothing

I don't know where I first heard this band or how I came to have a CD version of this record back in like 2007 or so. But I liked it back then and still like it now. All or Nothing compiles all the bands released material. I still know nothing about them.

What's not to like layout wise?? Hardcore - more hot chicks please

Delayed Disorder

Shiiiiit...sorry for the delay folks. It's a long story but basically I've been unable to log on to my account as I smashed my phone to bits accidentally. Anyway I'm still sans phone but have at least remedied the logging on to BlogSpot situation for now.
I'm super behind now of course and have so much shit to blog about that it's difficult to know where to start so I'm gonna just dive in with some 7" records first (I've already written up three more posts so we're getting serious over here) before I just lose the desire to bother completely.

A while ago when writing about a Vision Of Disorder record I mentioned that I was looking to fill some spaces in my V.O.D collection. Willem came to me straight away and offered a couple of pieces I needed and I took him up on the offer.

Vision Of Disorder - Still

Put out in 1995 on Striving For Togetherness Records this is the green version of the record. I believe this is the second press of the record with the blue and black versions being the first press. I have no idea of pressing numbers for this record though and actually didn't know there was a green version until Willem offered this one. This joins my black copy of the record so I still need to add a blue at some point.

Vision Of Disorder/Uzumaki/Dive - Split

This release is slightly less conventional and is a split between three bands. V.O.D and two Japanese bands Uzumaki and Dive. I presume this was put together for a tour but I could be way off. There's also a couple of similar releases with other bands. I'm sure Willem probably knows more about these releases. 750 were made and I believe that there's varying colours within that 750. This is the white cover and white vinyl version numbered 296. Vision of Disorder contribute 2 songs here Landslide and Twelve Steps To Nothing split over two records whilst the other bands add a track each.

Madball - Been There, Done That

Looking through Willem's list of records for sale (he has loads you should really take a look here) I also noticed he had a copy of this Madball 7" so I picked that up two just for the hell of it really as it's one I've never had. Standard black vinyl but I can never have enough Madball, it also comes on clear, red, blue and white vinyl.

Split Disorder

I like early Vision Of Disorder a lot. In fact I'm with the band up to and including the second full length 'Imprint'. There doesn't seem to be that much love for them these days which is a shame but I guess that's the product of some frayed label relationships and a seriously bogus shift in musical style in the early 2000's. I really wanted to love their record that came out last year but although it was a return some what to the 'V.O.D sound', I was just kinda nonplussed about it.
Regardless, over the last year or so I've been on the look out for a couple of their earlier 7" releases and I finally found this one on eBay for cheap (I just don't want to spend loads of money on bands like this that I don't listen to anymore).

Vision Of Disorder / Loyal To None - Split Atom

This is a 1994 split release with Loyal To None on Hearsay Records and features an earlier version of my favourite V.O.D song D.T.O (Drop The Oppressor). According to discogs 1000 were pressed on black and black alone.

The sleeve on this screams 90's. I seem to remember a time when most hardcore 7" records looked like this.
