FAST, LOUD, DEATH

They say you can't judge a book by it's cover, that's total bollocks where Lost Society are concerned because you can find out everything you need to know about the band from their cover.

See what I mean? It's all pretty self explanatory really. Lost Society are four young leather clad Finnish dudes who play thrash / Cross-over metal. There is zero new here, if you've ever heard any thrash metal from Megadeth to Malice from Anthrax to Acid Reign then you've heard Lost Society.

That's not to say that this record is bad or with out it's merits , it's a whole lot of fun actually and with charming song titles like these you know that the band aren't trying to reinvent the wheel. I bought this on a whim with a few more serious records a few weeks ago and it was exactly the fun listen I was after.

The look of this thing harks back to bands like Acid Reign and Nuclear Blast and also reminds me of the Beowulf record Mike wrote about a few months back. Nice looking gate fold sleeve that included a large poster of the cover art.

This is the black 180 gram version of the record, there is a very limited clear version of the record too of 150 pieces. The record comes in a black poly lined sleeve which I'm always a fan of.

  2. I downloaded this album a couple months ago, but I haven't taken the time to load them to the ipod. I may have correct this situation very soon.

P.S. I'm loving that you dropped the name Malice in this post. Metal!
